Creating and testing a series of wearable appliances to help Parkinson patients in daily life. This is what APPS is all about.
This education program with OnePlanet Research Center is a collaboration of HAN University of Applied Sciences, Radboudumc (Parkinson centrum), ROC Rijnijssel, ROC Nijmegen and some companies that want to implement them. Subjects are:
- Speech recognition
- Movement recognition and other sensors
- Wireless communication
- Design and ergonomics
The students would like to develop as many appliances as possible, together with patients.
